The
LP445T is a turbocharged version of our popular four-cylinder
diesel. It is a proven workhorse with an unparalleled record
for reliability and fuel efficiency. Real cubic inch power
instead of high RPMs provide all the power needed while ensuring
a long life cycle.
Features
such as cast iron cylinder heads and expansion tanks, twin
balancing shafts and torsional dampeners make the LP445T the
best choice for long distance cruisers.
For
many vessels, the LP445T's superior low-end torque and modest
engine speed make perfect sense.
Pipes,
hoses, belts, and electronic gadgets have been engineered
out to keep maintenance and repair headaches to a minimum.
If major work needs to be done on the engine, wet cylinder
liners allow it to be done inside the boat.
