The
LP445D is a naturally aspirated model built for maximum engine
life and fuel economy. This engine is perfect for new cruising
boats designed to be handled without a professional crew.
The
LP445D has features usually found only on much larger engines:
a cast iron cylinder head, a freshwater cooling system with
cast iron expansion tank and liquid-cooled exhaust manifold,
and wet cylinder liners.
Twin
balancing shafts and torsional dampeners reduce vibration
to that of a six-cylinder engine. A two-pass exhaust manifold
helps this Lugger warm up quickly and stay cool under load.
Pipes, hoses, belts, and electronic gadgets have been engineered
away. And there are two thermostats for added safety.
The
Lugger LP445D is the engine room solution for the comfortable
