L984D produces 70 flywheel horsepower at 2500 rpm. Its cruise
speed is 2200 rpm. Compare this to an engine that is rated
at 3600 rpm or more. What horsepower does it produce when

comfort afloat at any rpm, the L984D features the latest in
noise and vibration abatement, from an isolated valve cover
to a sandwich oil pan. And a special reentrant piston design
makes the L984D one of the cleanest operating engines on the
market. Exhaust smoke and environmental pollution are minimized

The
L984D can do more than just push your boat. An optional front
power take-off (PTO) or crankshaft pulley can run your boat's
hydraulic bow thruster, deck equipment, and refrigeration.
